Bloated Roadside Chickens

This scene alongside the “Miracle Mile” between Centralia and Chehalis was apparantly a promotion for a company that sells chicken. These chickens, however, are not representative of those sold by the company — they are impostor chickens who would like to be sold by the company but didn’t make the cut because they are pear-shaped and full of salt water. According to the chicken handler, it is a bad idea to eat chickens bloated with salt water. It’s probably also bad idea to eat freakish-looking chickens primed to cause 10-car pileups on the Miracle Mile.
